Locality
Como is divided informally between "riverside of the highway" (i.e. of Canning Highway), and non-riverside of the highway". People living in houses here appreciate the larger blocks i.e. normally "1/4 acre blocks (or 1012sqm). Como is close to schools, shopping and still within 10 minutes drive to the central business area. Many of the 1012sqm blocks have now been developed into duplex (2), triplex (3), or quadruplex (4) unit developments.
Housing Styles
Most homes were built 40-50 years ago in the Early Cubic (circa 1950) or the Waterfall (circa 1930-1950) era.
