Locality

Originally established in the 1930's many houses were of double brick and iron, double brick & tile construction. Most were 2 bedroom and sleepout (Rear skillion roof) with one bathroom and dining in the kitchen. Around the 1970's larger blocks of flats were introduced to provide accommodation for larger numbers. Developers building single level villas built in the 1980's & 1990's with townhouses (2 storey) being built since 1990's. The area is going through a large transformation as the older people move out and the younger people and families move in and do up the properties.
